A gift from my son. It reminds me of Ledaig, but I find this to be better. It's distilled here in Seattle. I highly recommend this to fans of Islay malts.

Unfortunately every Duty Free shop in Terminal 1 was still sold out of the 18 Yam when I went through on my way back

Don't know anything about this particular whiskey. It was acquired by grand father probably at least 20-25 years ago and it sat on the shelf since then. Dad finally opened it tonight and we had a small shot. Tasted pretty good after all these years. Extra old indeed

Very nice! I'm not familiar with this brand, either. The fact that it belonged to your grandpa makes it all the more special.

What are you drinking with your Rolex on?

Tonight, in celebration of Robbie Burns Day, it's a scotch festival with haggis. Here's me and a few mates drinking an 21 year old Mortlach.

And the haggis of course....

A separate one with the watch in view.
