This picture appears to be from HQ Milton. Are they the sellers? Did the owner buy it from them?

Dial is the more rare mk 2 version of the 5512 dial. You can tell this because the "SWISS T <25" at the bottom only goes across 3 minute marks instead of the usual 5. There are other ways to tell mainly with the font of the text. The lume looks a little thin in some areas particularly on the 6 and 11 hour marker.
Insert is a beautiful faded mk 3 or 2 depending on what nomenclature you use. I still call it the the three. Case looks very fat and in good shape. Hands are a reasonable match with some corrosion that is normal for age. Bracelet looks like a rivit.

Good idea. If you don't know the seller, be very careful. People regularly rip off their photos and represent as their own. More importantly determine that the watch is in fact in their possession. |

Ask seller to send you a pic with watch set at a particular time.

Is this the ad? If it is then I'd be very wary of 1 post wonders especially with 1 "borrowed" picture. It's screaming SCAM to me.

Seller has not come back to me. Price was very good but not stupid. Am assuming he's trying his luck but may give him another nudge today.
Will ask for additional time set image |
