Subc glidelock clasp

Has anyone else got scratches on the bracelet from the glidelock clasp on a subc? I'm not sure if these scratches are considered normal wear and tear from regularly adjusting the glidelock ?

Do you mean scratches on the last link which goes inside the glidelock clasp?
If so, yes it will scratch because of the friction between the two pieces.

The last link... If you just put something over it to protect it? as it's not seen I'm sure a tiny piece of selotape or something will just cancel the friction out on both mating surfaces?

Perfectly normal. If that worries you then do yourself a favor and never buy a gold Sub.

The corner of my MacBook Air is the bane of my clasp's existence. But yes, I also have what I would call rub marks on the link that goes into the glidelock clasp.

Two pieces of metal rubbing together will always show signs of wear. It's perfectly normal, and you'll notice wear from the buckle blades also, as these touch the inside edge of the bracelet & will show signs of this, also normal.
It is never seen when on the wrist, so don't sweat the small stuff, and just enjoy the watch for what it is, a watch!!

If you look at ALL metallic bracelets of any brand where there is contact between two metals, there will be scratches or marks. Why would a Rolex be an exception to this?
