I would def try on first as it wears like a 39mm and your Polar is 42mm so that's quite a difference.

The Daytona does NOT wear small. That is a myth. Here is mine:

In my opinion, the Daytona does wear slightly smaller than my sub or YM. For me however, it was not a factor in deciding on purchasing this watch. In terms of balance and weight, the 116520 is the best piece I own and the white dial does not give me any difficulty when reading. Cheers

Depends on your wrist size but I think the Daytona is beautifully balanced.
Personally, I would flip the hulk. |

It wears perfectly. I'd do your trade Ina heartbeat. Polar is nice, Daytona is wonderful.
I'd also flip Pam first, then exp 2 but your rationale makes great sense White easier to read than black. I think handles dressy situations just fine Great fleet. Do it |

Do it! It does wear smaller compared to a Sub or GMT given its thinner case and non rotating bezel. It is, however, comfortable as he!! Interetingly, despite feeling smaller, it rarely actually looks small in the various wrist shots that get posted. It's also easy to wear with a cuffed shirt. It is not as legible as a Sub or GMT, but few watches are. Once you get used to the watch, your eyes will starting picking up the hands much faster. It's my current favorite in my small rotation.

i wear a pam 328 daily and when i wear my daytona it does 'wear small' but that's compared to a 44mm luminor. it's a great change of pace, but not a watch i would wear when i travel and see clients. for me it's easy to ready and a great addition to my collection. good luck with your quest, keep the pam, it adds character to your collection....8^)

OP already stated he's definitely keeping his PAM. C'mon guys. Ha ha. I would flip the Polar Ex2 for the Daytona in a heartbeat. The white is on my wish list. Good luck with what you decide. I don't think you'd regret the Daytona.

I would not flip a polar explorer for a Daytona. But I am not a Daytona fan. The chronos would serve no purpose for me but I do like to know what the date is. And the Daytona is hard for me to read.

Before I purchased my polar last year, I was about to buy a daytona but it wore small even on my 6.5 wrist , I opted to get the polar instead if the daytona was 42 I would have snatched it right up
