Impulse buys........
So yesterday I decided to go into my friendly watch supplier to see if I can complete my collection with something new, with a black dial and bright, bright lume, so I can actually use it at night.
I tried on a Deepsea (For the 100th time, I still wont know if I could live with it), GMT and a Sub - all of which were exactly what I wanted.......... 10 Minutes later I walked out with a TT Daytona 116523 - Does anyone else have this same problem, you go to get something then end up with something completely different?? So here it is on its 1st day in the office! [IMG][/IMG] And I still need something, Black dial, New and with Bright, bright lame......... |

I have a brother from another "Mother" to that TT but with MOP dial and love it, too. Congrats!
And if you're still looking for something in black - look for its cousin...I did and have been very happy ever since.

I had my sights on a YG black Subc for a few months, then tried on a blue one, loved it, thought about it for a week and went back and got it, that's as impulsive as I get.

I usually take several trips to an AD and browse multiple posts and photos of a model before I'm ready to buy.
Congrats on the Daytona though! |

Came close last week. My AD pulled out a BLNR on me and gave me the hard sell. I started reaching for my wallet, but (1) I knew it wasn't what I needed/wanted and(2) my wife would have killed me for getting yet another black dialed sport watch.
