Tudor Black Shield. Anyone see its lume?

I posted this on the Non-Rolex thread and a member suggested I re-post here...

Has anyone seen Tudor's latest injected-carbon watch? Love the black face w/ red markers and hands with with red stitching on the strap. Tried one on at an AD but it never occurred to me to check it out in the dark...

Loved how it looked and felt. Has anyone seen the lume on this thing?

I have watches with orange lume, yellow lume, blue and all shades of green but I would be curious how this model lights up (if it even does) I'm doubting it would glow red but that would be awesome!

Have not seen the lume on it yet but the case is monobloc ceramic not injected carbon.

I have the bronze version, not the red but I'm guessing the lume is the same. Only the dots above each hour marker and the hands are lumed. The lume is green on mine. Nothing to write home about though, the lume is weak at best.

The lume is the worst of any watch I have ever seen. With that said, it's one of my favorite watches ever. So different.

It's amazing that the Tudor Fastriders have the worst lume ever and the Tudor Pelagos has the best lume ever.

Can't get into this watch. It looks like something Bamford would crank out.

Really bad lume barely lasts an hour but then I just take it as a stealthy loud watch. Lol

Cut & pasted from the Tudor website and phone app:

HIGH-TECH CERAMIC

The TUDOR Fastrider Black Shield’s monobloc case is an archetype in its genre. What makes it so special? The whole case is produced as a single piece using nothing but high-tech injected ceramic, as opposed to ceramic applied as a coating. A unique operation for watches in this segment.

If you don't wear it at night when sleeping, then not so bad. I have a Rolex with bad lume but I seldom need it.

The canvas model seems to have quite a passable amount of lume on the hands.

The Black / red model seems to have none. they (like the markers all appear red) The dots above the markers are what you are referring to I assume.

I have lots of gorgeous watches with crappy lume. Breitling Datora has just tiny dots. better than nada I guess.

I guess you don't buy a Black Shield for the Lume...

Nope, I bought mine because it's bad to the bone!
