Jomashop
I just purchased a Tudor from Jomashop. It didn't come with the original "International Guarantee" card with serial #. All they included was their own warranty card. Why is this? Of course I tried contacting them but it's the weekend. I'm going to go ahead and assume they have some bull---- answer for this but it's a brand new watch and should have the card.
I'm getting the feeling I will never buy another watch from them. Glad it was nothing more expensive. Are they reputable? I have no prior experience with their business. |

and yes, they're decent sellers. it also states on their website they do not include the original warranties. congrats on the watch and just enjoy it. you probably got a decent deal and thats the tradeoff. |

I found my wife a specific watch from them because they were the only ones that still had one left. We got the watch, but this was so many years ago that I have forgotten why I said I'd never do business with them again...

It's well stated by Jomashop that you do not receive the original factory warranty on any watch purchased through them.

They're pretty clear about not providing a manufacturers warranty card/papers as are most other gray dealers.

Well the resources are here to check out sellers - Jomashop appears in many threads in the Who's Who section. The missing plastic card is not an issue to many.
But if you can't accept that situation, there's always this: http://www.jomashop.com/help-center/returns-exchanging/

Many of the big internet grey dealers do not provide the manufacturers warranty card. Alan Furman also does not. My guess as to why is to shield their sources from the end consumer either because they want to keep that info private and/or their sources want it that way.

Did they provide warranty form themselves?
If so, then they are actually guaranteeing the watch instead of the manufacturer, which I believe comes down to having warranty covered. I read a few posts that if you buy Grey, the manufacturers warranty may not apply, so basically they are doing the right thing by not trying to make you believe you have manufacturers warranty, when you actually don't. Please correct me if I'm wrong. And congrats on your purchase, it doesn't take away the beauty of your watch!

I contemplated buying a watch from them in the past. When I did a search for them, in short:
Yes, all of their watches are authentic. No worries there. Good/great prices. Horrible customer service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That clears things up for me. Thanks guys. I'm new to watch collecting and didn't know much about the grey market.

Matt, congrats on the new watch. FWIW, I just bought a TT Sub from Alan Furman last week. Mine did come with a Rolex warranty card from an AD in Italy. The problem with the card is going to be, if it needs warranty repair, RSC NYC will want a copy of the bill. I know I could say I got it as a gift, etc etc. Hopefully it won't need any repairs and if it makes it trouble free to its first service, then I'll pay and then have their 2yr warranty.
Furman, like Jomashop has their own 2yr warranty. Only time will tell. |

That's the first I've heard of a BNIB Rolex from there coming with the card from the manufacturer. It says right on their website each watch comes with a warranty card from Alan Furman.

Back. Also came with Furmans written warranty and tags and still had all the protected wrapping. I've always bought from an AD but this time I tried Furman. No regrets |
