My 5513 On A Leather Strap

Hey Guys:

It's summmer time here in Texas and it's time to switch over to the leather straps...

Just got this one from TRF'er "rockin'ron" and it looks and feels awesome!

Looks great...Im just the opposite...cant wear leather in the summer. Too much sweating down south :). I stick with ss bracelets all summer and switch to leather in the winter.

It is from Vintasso/Denmark. It was originally purchased as a nato strap, but double layer leather going under the case, plus 3 hardwares attached made it too thick on the wrist. So i ended up modifiying it to a single layer, single hardware minimal pull-through strap and works great on my wrist - also took a great color in 1 year. Here is a pic when it first arrived in its original condition.

Good move. NATO's especially thick leather ones are also going to play havoc with springbar spring ends. There are reasons why milsubs have welded bars.
