Advice please - fitting an extra bracelet link

Good afternoon on a beautiful sunny day here in Somerset, UK.

I have a question which I suspect is fairly straightforward. My 16520 SS Daytona is a little tight on hot days when my wrist expands but there is no adjustment left on the clasp so I need another link fitted.

Question - do I need to use Loctite or similar when fitting screw pins on a bracelet? I'm afraid that the screws may come undone at some future point if I disturb them.

If so, what type of Loctite should I get?

Loctite 221 is the stuff to get.

Thanks Larry. It looks like Otto Frei has either 222 (low strength) or 243 (medium strength). I guess 222 would be ok?

I have a Sub not a Daytona but I have recently added in an extra link. In my opinion you should not have to rely on loctite or similar. Screw the links screws in until they are just tight, having taped up the adjacent links to prevent scratches. Don't over tighten or you may cross thread.
