Well, the box looks okay to me.

But hopefully Wolfgang chips in with more info. What he does not know about boxes is not worth knowing.

What do you think, Jason?

I'm not really up on the older boxes, but the gold embossed lettering looks a bit crude and clumsy compared to the new style boxes.

As Bo says, Wolfgang's the man for this one.

The style of box looks ok, but the writing does not look correct

Box is correct and genuine. The writing and logo are not precise on all of them, but yours is in the correct location. Look at my pics and you will see the different grain pattern on the earlier and the later boxes of the same style. Also note that the outer box top matches each different one precisely. Also I see your looking for a 1967 box for your 5513, this model is not it. These were used from 81-91 in USA market only.

The box is genuine. Pull the center section out and see if it reads Bufor on the bottom, this is the company that made the box. This was an exclusive USA box from around 1979 until the late 1980's. Rolex changed boxes in the 1980's but this box could have been on a 1990's watch, depending on what the dealer had in his box inventory. If I was shopping for a box from 1990 on, I wouldn't recommend this box as correct. I haven't seen this box counterfeited yet.

The box that replaced the one just mentioned in the USA market was a small square box with a green-colored pillow covered in a thin coat of vinyl which was used for a five to six year span from around 1989 until around 1984. This box was replaced with the a larger square box with a tan suade covered pillow used until the late 1990's and is notorious for being counterfeited.

Shop on brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has indeed been counterfeited. Some better, some worse, be careful when buying one. The dates I stated are correct. Prior to this box from 75-81 this was the USA box exclusively.

Wrong - My production dates are correct. Show us a counterfeit one if you will, I have yet to see, or hear of them being counterfeited, but that doesn't mean they haven't been counterfeited.
