Gilt Sub for JLC Deepsea
So this may be a stupid question considering the forum, but think everyone on here must be a fan of all watches.
I have a JLC Deepsea Alarm that I bought new in Jan14 and haven't worn a huge amount as have grown more fond of Vintage Rolex (currently have 69' 1675 and 79' Snowflake) and have always loved Subs. I now have the chance to swap it for a gilt 5513 and am wondering, whilst I will wear the Sub more, am I giving up something a little less ubiquitous for something which design wise at least is everywhere? Would love to know thoughts... Here's the Gilt when I tried it on (sorry blurry picture) Here's JLC |

Poor pic of the 5513 but if good I think it is a good deal for you. A JLC is for sale at C24 for EUR 8500 at a trader in Austria. So assume value is EUR 8k. Not easy to get a gilt 5513 for that amount I think.

One is vintage, one wants to be vintage...
The value of your JLC is around $7K-$8K, for a Gilt 5513 (depending on condition, your photo doesn't really help much) it seems like a good deal. |

That looks like the bart gilt. If the dial is in good condition, i would do it in a heartbeat.

If all original that's a deal for the gilt.
