Don't think there are any 'wrong choices', but given your work involves travel then I think a GMT would not just be very stylish but also very useful!

I have a similar career and lifestyle
My 2 cents is to get a low key Rolex Nothing worse than having some caddy nurses or techs whispering about your watch behind your back. It's what steered me to the Milgauss. Nobody knows what it is. 😎 |

I RARELY wear my Sub for work. Stick to my Baume and Mercier Riviera that I've had for years. However, last week a male nurse, walked up and said I love your watch, is it a Fossil? I didn't want to exhibit poor emotional intelligence and correct him, so I simply showed it to him and said it was a gift.

I would hold tight until July when the new OPs come out
Those look great and fly under the radar a bit Nobody gets a thrill out of signing a big po for someone that obviously makes over triple their salary |

Since you're not a fan of the BLNR, I'd say Daytona. Very versatile, sporty and dressy.

Agree that the new OP look nice, but still find them a bit "sporty" to complement a Sub. I'd go for a DJ or DJII (depending on your size). They are a little "dressier" in my opinion and will give you a nice balanced collection. As far as not wearing them at work, you are missing out on 40+ hours a week you could be enjoying a fine time piece. 90% of people you deal with will never notice your watch. 5% will notice it and enjoy it perhaps saying "nice watch, look at mine, let's talk about watches for a minute." The last 5% should not be allowed to detrmine what you wear.

The black-dial DJ2 with fluted bezel is a handsome and strikingly beautiful watch that goes well with a variety of sporty, casual, or business scenarios. I am 100% happy with mine.

Tried this very watch on earlier this week. Right now it's #1 on my list. I had on a suit as it was during my lunch, and it looked great. Love the stick dial, fluted bezel and PCL combo.

Funny, my situation is almost identical to yours including one LV, 36, married 2 kids etc etc.
Few months ago I added my second - a 39mm explorer l. But I caution...the LV has seen almost no wrist time since. Now eyeing a third but will likely expand to another brand (JLC or Panerai perhaps). Enjoy whatever you decide on! |

flipping the TT DJ2 with slate and green is a huge regret for me.
out of your list, that is my favorite, so i would have to pick that one. and it will go with everything you list out.

DJ or DD due to #4. You can wear the Hulk on the weekends casually, and dress it up a bit during the week with a DJ/DD in your suit.

I flipped the two tone DJ2 with slate dial and green numerals for the DJ2 blue index. I found the slate dial hard to see and read.

I have a SubC and waiting on my Exp II polar which should be here on Friday...can't wait. As long as it's a ROLEX you should be fine!

I suggest a Datejust 1 with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet to mix things up. It is perfect for when you want to look dressier than the Sub.
