Guys I've got a problem
I've located an "M" Pepsi at a local AD & I don't think I can resist it, lol. It's at one of their other stores out of state & they're supposed to call me back Mon/Tues to confirm they can transfer it here. Just got my SS Daytona last month, the thought of a 2nd Rolex purchase in just as many months seems crazy as hell to me but I really don't want to miss out on the chance of buying a Pepsi new from AD before they're all gone. I feel like I'm being ridiculous for wanting another when I already have 2 but the sickness is so hard to fight. Maybe I need a methadone prescription, lol. I thought I was over this addiction after the Daytona acquisition. On a positive note, I'm not a fan of the newer models coming out so maybe this one will be my last.

If it really sings to you the GMT would dove tail nicely with the Daytona and Sub.
I would make sure I wanted the watch for what it is and not some feeling it may be hard to get in the future though. Good luck. |

Why don't you put down a deposit and pay the rest over a few months.
That way it may seem thats its been several months since you last bought a Rolex. Just a thought.

By no means am I a wealthy person (monetarily speaking), but when I had a chance to get my M Pepsi only a month after getting my Sub-Date (which took me about 10 years to pull the trigger on) I went for it. I certainly love it and am finding it to be getting more wrist time than my Sub-Date recently.

Allen, I wanted my TT GMT II and it was going to ship in a week, so to tide myself over I got a Panerai. I went back the next week and got my TT GMT. When I walked into the store I was wearing my SS GMT that I bought only 3 month earlier!!!
So in my book, you're moving too slow. |

Thanks for being the great sounding board I knew you all would be....fricken enablers, lmao. Waiting on the call from the AD to confirm it's being transferred. The sales rep told me that Rolex frowns on transfers between stores in different regions/states but that he was pretty sure he could arrange it. Hopefully he comes through. Of course pics will be posted as soon as I have it if all works out. If he doesn't come through I'll post where it's located for other members. They also have a "M" GMT II "Coke" at my local AD which I tried on and confirmed a wiggle test pass. 5% discount was offered up quickly as well.

M Series
My M series Pepsi is on the way and I just bought a GMT-IIC. I fund that the IIC didn't sync with me, but the Pepsi does, so I will flip the IIC soon...can't wait for the Pepsi. Get it and enjoy it for many years!

Not sure I see a problem here Allen.
Also, are you in NoVA or down by VA Beach? My AD had a couple of pepsi/coke GMTs yesterday, at least one of which was M. He was telling me about a guy who called, asking about serial numbers, hunting for a 3186 in an old style GMTII. |

Just got the call confirming it's being transferred. Haven't committed to buying it yet but I'm strongly leaning in that direction. As soon as it arrives the AD is putting it in the safe for me until I get over there to check it out. Chances are once I see it I'll end up bringing it home. I'm drawing the proverbial line in the sand after this one though...no more watch purchases for a year.
