Well, I am not sure I'd buy this one.
The pic is lousy, and the Explorer II 1655 is often faked. If it seems too good to be true, it probably IS too good to be true.

I've often wondered what I would do if I came across an item like this. I'm not well enough versed in the vintage arena to plunk down a few grand in the hopes that I get a great deal and I'm not sure I would want to trust an AD verification. An interesting dilemma if you are not a vintage expert.

Pic is awfully small, but I'm not crazy about the bezel font or crown guards. Especially on an early straight seconds hand version.

thanks for the offer karis,that's very thoughtful of you,but no.i didn't look to hard at the photo and didn't see the tell tale signs of a fake.you would think someone that could post an ad on the web would see what the going price of what their selling on ebay.then set the going price on their ad.like the saying goes,if it's to good to be true it probably is.but sometimes you just gotta look.thanks to those for their input on this watch.
