Bracelets

Are all royal oak and roo bracelets the same other than size.

From photos it seems the bracelet on the jumbo is a bit more beveled and angular than on the roo.

Either that or I am crazy...

The RO bracelet and the ROO bracelet are different animals from the same parents....

Both are comfortable...and look fantastic!

While some may find both bracelets comfortable depending on wrist shape, I found the bracelet on my ROO quite unbearable. Specifically, it was the deployant pushers on the offshore which are quite a bit larger and thicker than on the royal oaks. This caused quite a bit of discomfort as it tended to dig into my wrist, especially on those hot and sweaty Vegas days (and nights!). My ROC on a bracelet is quite a bit more comfy than the ROO as the deployant pushers are much lower in profile and size (ROO has since departed/flipped).

And the bracelets on ROs are not all the same either. 15202 is slimmer than 15400.

This is one thing I love about APs. They design the bracelet to match and integrate with the case.

I feel like Rolex cut corners here and made the same bracelets (minus PCLs and the clasp) for all of their watches. I think they did this cost saving measure at the expense of the overall design (large sub lugs).

Yes, I am one of those people who find the ROO bracelet to be just perfect. I've had absolutely no problems with it, it feels comfortable, and it transforms my ROOs into "different" watches. No complaints here.

Thanks for this thread... I have a question regarding the bracelet of the 15202 vs 15400. I always thought they are the same until I was told recently (also mentioned above) that they aren't. In fact, I felt upon trying both watches that the bracelet was different but I thought I was imagining. The 15202 bracelet is a bit more rigid esp at the top few links (it doesnt take the shape of the wrist), whereas the 15400 bracelet takes the form of the wrist and feels more flexible. Is that true? Otherwise can someone tell me what is the difference between the two bracelets? A picture would be great too.. Thanks

I'm sure it depends on each person and others have had the opposite experience; but when I tried on the 15202, I also felt like it didn't wrap around my wrist as well as the 15400 did. The 15400 just fit like a glove.

Exactly, the 15202 didnt wrap around my wrist while the 15400 was perfect - just like a glove (perfect term).. This is also one of the reasons why I dismissed the 15202 and considering the 15400!

The bracelet that fits the Diver is also useable on what....I assume it's the 42mm ROO and not the 44?

Yes Clive, the bracelet fits all the 42 mm ROOs.
