I personally don't understand the stigma many folks attach to YG being "Too fill in your favorite adjective". People wear all manner of gold toned watches many of which are high end and many of which are simply plated. What's the difference in the eyes of a non-WIS ?

I think it's a great looking Submariner. The blue and gold give a very nautical feel to the watch. I personally like my Submariners in stainless steel but the two tone and precious metal Submariners take on a charm similar to the Yachtmaster. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I miss the heck out of mine! I thought it was beautiful and still do, traded it in a moment of practicality. I never thought it was that flashy, just the right mix of gold, steel and a bit of color.
