I think it's a great looking Submariner. The blue and gold give a very nautical feel to the watch. I personally like my Submariners in stainless steel but the two tone and precious metal Submariners take on a charm similar to the Yachtmaster. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I miss the heck out of mine! I thought it was beautiful and still do, traded it in a moment of practicality. I never thought it was that flashy, just the right mix of gold, steel and a bit of color.
