My DOXA 1200 has recently fell a little of time too, used to gain .25 sec per day! I hadn't worn it for about 2 years and this spring I strapped it on and it was around -4 sec per day. I don't think that it appreciated being stored for so long!
It might need a service, one of these days I'll have Rik take a peek at it.
I'm not exactly sure which he was saying - I don't think he really got that far. He said he could buff it out, but considering the depth it might still look a bit off, otherwise he said he could just lightly buff the rest of the bezel and buff that a little bit .. and I said fine at that point - I more wanted the thousands of hairlines out of the side / bezel which he did.

Yeah, he can regulate your Doxa without an issue and he also have the ability to perform high pressure (lower depth) water resist test if you need that.
