Trade 3 watches for AP Jumbo?

I've really been bit by the Jumbo bug lately and I'm considering flipping three of my mid level watches to get it.

The three below would need to be flipped...

The SubC and IWC are easily replaceable, the 1680 is a little more unique but not too rare.

In addition to the Jumbo I'd be keeping my BLNR and Moonwatch, and eventually probably add a JLC reverso 1931 as a dress option.

I really do love the 3 watches I'd be flipping but I'm not sure I have a sentimental arrachment to them like the Speedy and BLNR. I'm hoping that will also apply to the Jumbo. Probably my biggest obstacle is there is no AP boutique in southern CA so I won't be able to see it in the metal till I recieve it.

So, anyone feel the Jumbo is worth three other great watches? Or should I bide my time and wait a few years till I can buy it outright (assuming the wife lets me ;).

If you're in the LA area, you can come to one of our (LAwatchgang) get togethers and see one in person.

If it were me I would only trade them for a Patek 5711 blue dial.

If the jumbo really speaks to you, I would do it if it were me.
A 15202 and BLNR and Speedy are a nice trio.

I think you'll have a trio with 3 watches that will get equal wrist time.
Always better than having a few more that don't get much wrist time imo.

I'm pretty good about wrist time with all of them, the SubC is actually my "beater" so it gets the most wrist time, the BLNR would take over that role. How do I join LAwatchgang?

I like the vintage sub i would let the BLNR go before it, not sure for me the Jumbo is worth it.

May I ask if you have other watches and which ones? If you have others I would do it, if only these 3 hard to say...

I would be keeping my BLNR and Speedy Pro Moonwatch. I would also likely add a JLC Reverso 1931 at some point down the line.

Keep the vintage at all costs. Flip the IWC, SubC and BLNR.

I would flip all but the 1680. The blnr can be replaced and still commands a good price in flip

As much as I love the 1680 the BLNR was my first Rolex and it's pretty much my favorite watch as well as being a birth watch for my son. This is what makes it a tough call, I wear all of these, none are safe queens.

I would for sure! My rule is keep one ceramic rolex and you're doing that with your BLNR which is not up for negotiations.

All these including the 1680 could be replaced without trouble.

I'm with the guys that say flip 2 and keep vintage. If you insist on losing 3 then I think it is worth it for

Hold on to 1680 and adios to the rest.

15202 is a special watch.

1680 - stays put - great coloring on that one!

Box up everything else and grab a Jumbo!
