Edited... I bought my first Seiko in 1975 while visiting Seoul, Korea. It became my favored timepiece over the decades. This one has been my daily wear for the past 6 years.

I like Seiko's. They just seem to run forever. Just as yours has!

Just dropped it into a gold24kt solution for a few minutes to refresh the watch from years of daily wear. Not too shabby a job for a quickie electroplate.
