The BLNR will become a trio with these two
I have a sub114060 and 116710 blnr and they go really well together, I've never owned a Daytona but I'm don't think you'll have any regrets.

Well...I don't know. That's a tough one.

If you are saying the love is gone and you know for sure the BLNR is what you need, I guess. But I would make sure that is what you're feeling before doing that.

This is the "hey, the emperor isn't wearing any clothes!" statement of TRF.

It's cool if people want to collect what is basically the same watch over and over again, but it's odd how rare it is to mention that this is what they are doing.

Similar but different!

Different dials
Different crystals
Different cases
Different bracelets/straps
Different ceramic insert
Different case finishing

But I enjoy it.

Congrats in advance!
I'm sure a Daytona will see it's way back into your collection when the time is right.

Well funds are now in the account and the Daytona is being packaged up for its new owner who will no doubt give it the wrist time it deserves

I'm now in limbo...

The BLNR does appeal to me but I still think it's strong money on the discounted from my normal supply chains, supplying an EU warranty card one but they have it only £200 below uk RRP, non EU ones sit around about £5,000 but for me as I like to flip non EU models are a lot harder to shift in the UK.

From my buying history apart from the Daytona I usually see 15-20% off retail which the BLNR is no where near at the moment.

I might sit tight to see what Basel 16 brings

Not in its present SS guise!

Some like classic some like modern and I've come to realise I prefer the modern look and to me the SS Daytona is a classic no doubt but it's not as modern as its ceramic bezel equipped brothers and sisters so I'm sitting tight on the Daytona front!

If I win the lottery then a Platona will be inbound, if I don't then I'm saving for the RG Ceramic Daytona or if the ceramic treatment spills over into the WG models.

I had the chance to get a Daytona and the BLNR last May and decided to go with the BLNR. A couple of months later, I would still be thinking of the Daytona so now... I have both

My collection is definitely missing a chronograph and a white dial just a shame the SS Daytona wasn't the one!

The collection is also missing a GMT

Funnily over the last couple of days I've been revisiting a few pics I have of the polar ExpII wrist shots on my phone, not something that has been on my radar but has got me looking!

Would not flip my daytona for it, and i love the BLNR. The daytona is IMO the best all around watch.

Definitely depends on what you like and if you want variety or not. For me, the Sub and GMT both sit similarly on my wrist. But the Daytona with the thinner case, is more comfortable and the chrono makes it more interesting. The BLNR is not difficult to find in the US, but may be harder to source in the UK.
