Nice! You're in good company. I've got the red/leather one but am seriously considering the black.

There is so much about Tudor on the site it's easy to establish that they are a fully owned subsidiary manufactured within Rolex's walls with a long history and also founded by Hans Wilsdorf (on March 6, 1946) as a less pricey brand.

The original Tudor Sub came out right after the Rolex one did (1953, then 1954). These new Black Bays are actually styled after vintage Tudor Sub models. The snowflake hands, for instance, are a Tudor thing not a Rolex thing. The OPs beautiful new BBB has the more vintage looking dial of the original red BB, but with the new black bezel. It's all Tudor; the Tudor Sub has been around so long it has spawned a retro line.
