Let NOT our discussions turn into arguments!!

Hi guys,

This is a very friendly post, so no misunderstandings please...

In recent days, I couldn't help noticing that some of the threads which began with casual discussions, have actually turned into arguments....amongst GOOD FRIENDS of all the thing.

This really hurts, guys. I don't wish to make references to either the posts nor the posters, but come on, guys, let's keep it green and clean. We are such a close-knit community of friends. Our numbers are not all that much to speak of....so I think it's very important that we restrict our discussions to discussions only.

I think it's also very important that we re-read our posts sometimes, especially during these lengthy topics, and see if we are not accidentally hurting the other guy's feelings.

I would thank all of you to keep this place cheerful, fun-loving, watch-informative and the FRIENDLIEST forum on planet earth.

Thanks & cheers - JJ

I try not to get too snarky in here. If I do, it's by mistake.
Too many long days and nights at work & nursing a cold.
More often than not, I forget to add smileys.

thanks JJ!

We all need to be reminded that the pleasant smirk on our face in front of the keyboard is not visible on the other side.

Remember, "it's not easy being green."

Oh yeah? Why don't you tell it to the idiot who came up with this?

JJ, keep in mind that some of the uneasiness from last week was because of a known troll who only came here with the explicit intent of causing trouble. He did so much as admit it to me in a PM.

We are still relatively young and experienced exponential growth here in the past year (less, actually). I think we're doing pretty good and the guys here show immense tact and guile in self-moderating. There will always be bumps, but I know we're all big enough to watch our Ps and Qs and keep this place happy and fun.

But when trolls rear their ugly heads, they must be dealt with quickly and efficiently, as was exhibited last week.

Keeping in mind that people's personalities aren't created using cookie cutters, JJ, it's inevitable that there will eventually be some conflict when two or more people get together. That doesn't change the fact that when all's said and done, we still count each other as friends.

Tough break, Earl - you're just going to have to get used to being the turkey!
