What holds the second hand to the spindle?

Hi, I have a Tudor steel model dating from 1949. The second hand appears loose on the central spindle coming up through the dial and so does not move around quite as it should.
What can be done to fix it please so it moves around as it should?

Hard to say what your problem might be..

There are hollow shafts that the hands press fit around and a central seconds shaft that the seconds hand press fits onto.

It may be the shaft itself, the pinion or gear that drives it, or the hand not properly fit..

Take it to any competent wathmaker and have him diagnose and correct the problem

Should be an easy fix. The hand just needs being tightened.
