Ceramic AP divers disappeared???

I wanted to check a few pieces on Chrono24 and decided to see if they had my Ce diver, the "ceramic" is no more in the search part on the left, is it possible that they don't have a single ceramic ROO in their listing for it to be gone? They have carbon and others but no more ceramic, I'm very surprised as they had quite a few different ones, from the 42's to the 44's.

Then I decided to go on the AP website and when you go the white and black ceramic diver are not shown anymore, you can just see them when doing a "advanced options" search, which I did and both are there but with the mention "availability to be confirmed/ Boutique exclusive" could this mean that they stopped making them as before they were with the 2 other divers? I know it's not the first time we talked about it but this time I'm really wondering…

In any case if ever it's discontinued I would be a very happy camper as for me the Ce is an awesome watch, having a virtually unscratchable watch is a clear luxury, can't say how great it is not to have to check if you scratched it or not during the day or in case of a small shock, of course I would check if it suffered a huge shock but don't think that would happen as I'm very careful with it. Fr those who followed on the PP forum I sold my 5712 to make a great investment, I loved and miss that watch a lot, but think it's wiser to have sold it rather than the diver, as the diver in black Ce is much more exclusive than the 5712, I got mine in June 2015 and it's numbered in the 500's, wo there can't be much of them out. But my goal is clearly getting a 5712 back, except if for the 40th they give us the 5712 with cermet bezel, now that would be awesome, can't see it with ceramic but the color of cermet would make it look just fine IMO

Would love to hear your thoughts about this new disappearance of the ceramic divers, last time only the black was missing from the AP website

Yes, it has been discontinued. Confirmed by multiple AP boutiques and ADs.

Ceramic and forged carbon divers have been discontinued by AP but can be found pretty easily on the secondary market. DavidSW has one of each for sale right now.

A boutique next to my house still didn't sell their white ceramic diver in over 7 months but the black ceramic diver sells in a day

Well how glad I am that I sold my Patek 5712 to finance part a very interesting investment and not the AP, I had hesitated but finally did the smartest thing as the 5712 will be easier to get back as there are much more of them than there are divers… Some of us are lucky to have one like you and me Ben, as I don't think they made many of them, it's like a very limited edition watch, wonder of prices will rise or not...

Well there's not a single ceramic one on Chrono24...

I tried the white, nice but since it's white it gives an impression of being huge...

I know you love Chrono24, but it's HARDLY the gauge as to what's really out there. Actually find that site highly inaccurate.

You can get a Ceramic in about 2 seconds if you know where to look.

there are some on chrono24 just some sellers do not properly tag their advertisement with the correct keywords, so sometimes need to use the search function and not the side categories

for example typing "ap ceramic diver" gives nothing but "orange offshore diver" returns 2 black ceramic divers

searching by the serial number helps too

It's not that I love them but 70% of my watches I bought through them, and all went as smooth as can be, got the AP from AP but the Pateks for example from them, one from Germany the other from Italy, in any case 1 is enough for me but I was surprised not to find one...

You're right 2 pop up using your key words, in a y case more than happy with one, don't intend to collect them

but their key word system is strange, see what pops up when you type "AP diver", surprising...

About a month ago it was 7 ceramic divers for sale.

The same search today shows 10 for sale.
