Gunny Straps - recommended!
I recently bought a Gunny strap for my PAM 346 off of strapfreaks.com. Some of the stitching started to come loose within a few days. I wrote to strapfreaks.com but their warranty policy is literally voided once the strap has been worn (I should have read their policy closely... that's on me), even though this was obviously a workmanship issue. They did offer me a repair which would have meant shipping the strap all the back to Indonesia on my dime.
I ended up emailing Peter at Gunny Straps directly and he was very understanding and stated that he would send me a replacement ASAP. He definitely stands behind his work and takes obvious pride in his customer service. I would not buy from strapfreaks.com again, but I will definitely not hesitate to contact Peter for any of my future PAM strap needs. |

I don't know what type of relationship that Peter Gunny has with them, but Its nice to see that he still took care of it coming from a third party. To be fair to Peter , he could have sold that strap to them a year or more ago and as you know , some third parties just throw returns back on the shelf to wait for the next buyer. Buy direct! I have only dealt with Peter Gunny directly for years and he is big on customer service. I have purchased 7 straps from him over the years and he has always emailed me a picture of the finished product before he shipped it, to show me exactly what I was getting.
