Great to see all of these watches side by side. All fantastic, but the Pepsi certainly pops out and the no-date Sub remains a classic.

For me this photo shows the absolute beauty of older SS Rolex watches. That is a great collection. You have great taste and the Rootbeer would fit in very well with your next 6 pack which would show the beauty of TT's.

At the end of the day, my collection is pretty straight forward and simply shows my affinity for the 5 digit references in steel, with a couple of exceptions, the modern Daytona (even though it's 11 years old, and shares the same case size as the 5 digit model) and the vintage pepsi. I also own '68 Pre-Moon Speedmaster, one of my first pieces, but the Daytona was my personal grail.

Yeah, besides the incoming Rootbeer, I thought of maybe adding a blue 36 Oyster Perpetual 116000 since my wife comandeered my Explorer. 😉

GMT-MASTER 1675. 1978, 5xxxxxxx. Cal. 1575. I was always enamoured by the look of vintage watches, particularly the vintage 'pepsi'. This came with a 62510h jubilee and up until then, I wasn't a fan of the bracelet. Now it's my favorite configuration for this watch.

Explorer 14270. 2000 'P' series. Was another grail for me. Now belongs to my wife.

Datejust 16014. 1984 8xxxxxx. Cal. 3035. The plexi crystal gives the look of vintage, while the fast beat movement and quick set date offer modern advantages. Best of both worlds. Easily the dressiest of the bunch.

Explorer 2 16570. 2008 'M' series. Cal. 3186. Engraved rehaut. Most recent acquisition and newest of the bunch despite still being a 5 digit reference. Notable for having the latest movement in a previous generation model. Again, best of both worlds for me.
