Guidance over buy pre-owned
Greeting helpful souls.
Can anyone please provide advice on buying pre-owned. What should I be wary of/looking out for? Also what's the best way to verify authenticity & to confirm service history. Here's one I've found.... your comments please: http://www.chrono24.co.uk/audemarspi...-id3919023.htm |

I have the slightly older version of this 25860 (square deployant instead of AP-shaped, and square indicies at 3:00 and 9:00) and would say that the biggest selling points of this particular watch are the recent full AP service and box/papers. You can certainly find a ROC for less, but this watch will have new gaskets, etc. So that service alone is probably worth about $1500 USD. I don't know the seller, but everything pictured looks as it should.
