Which Watch ?

I know most of us have more than one watch and we do have our favorites for different reasons. My question is, which watch do you wear the most, and why?

My favorite watch is my GMT, but I love wearing the 14060M and now wear it most often. For some reason I love this watch and can't seem to take it off. It has a little to do with the Sub being the "classic Rolex" as well as, the clean dial and the black contrast against the SS case and bracelet.

Anyway, which one do you guys wear most often ? Is it your favorite ? And what is it about the watch that makes you wear it most ?

Good question, CJ, and I think you will have a pretty good response to this one.

As you all know I have just the two: The TT Blue YM and the Sub 16610. I love them BOTH, but since I've got the Subby, wear it much more than the Yammy. It's only the last couple of days I haven't worn it 'cause I was testing its power reserve which came up aces at 48 hours.

The YM is very, very nice, but somehow once the 16610 gets on my wrist, it stays there.

Seriously, I've always considered it as the ULTIMATE ROLEX - even when I didn't own one - it says everything there is to be said about Rolex...it simply screams Rolex and tells the world you're wearing one.

The 16610 is the best thing that's happened to the horological world in terms of quality, dependabiltiy, durability, accuracy and superbly stunning looks. This watch says it all....with GUSTO and with an indistinguishable style that is unique to it. I love Rolex....always have and always will!! And the 16610 is indeed the COMPLETE watch!!

My Sub is my favroite It's not getting as much time since I got the BM. I've been wearing the BM to work and putting the BM on when I get home, but the SUb still is my favorite

For me it is the 24 followed by the 88. Those two really get all the wrist time.

Right now alternating daily between the 16610 and the Pam113.
Might also depend on the "mood" for that day. The PAM is a bit "funkier" feeling.
But today, 16610.

I alternate watches on an almost daily basis, but I wear a Sub most of the time. In fact, today I am wearing my '65 5512 on a new green/khaki NATO band in honor of St. Patrick's Day. The SD and GMT-II get the most time after the Subs.

Tomorrow night is the big annual dinner for The Explorers Club at the Waldorf in NYC, and I am having trouble making up my mind. Do I wear my '58 gold Explorer (the closest thing I have to a dress watch), my TT Blue Sub, or either the SD or Daytona I wore on my Titanic dive last summer? It's black tie, but that will never stop me from wearing a Rolex sports model.

I wear the newly-acquired Sub the most, then comes the Daytona, and least of all the DateJust. Not that I don't like it a lot, but I am not in a more formal dress situation that often, so the others are more appropriate most of the time. I have tried wearing the DJ with my work clothes on the job, and it just doesn't look or feel right.

I probably wear the Aqua Terra Chronograph the most, then the Speedy Pro. About once a week or so I wear the Hamilton, and over the weekend it's usually the Breilting Chrono Avenger.
The one that gets the least wrist time would be the Omega SMP Ti. Not cause I don't love it (cause I do. It was my first fine watch, daily beater for 4 years, been in a horrible bike wreck with me and it was on my wrist when I got married) but because I have had it the longest. (since 2000) Everything else was bought after may of 2005.

The one that gets the most wrist time is also the one I love the most - the all black GMT. About once a week I swap out the GMT for the Breitling because I love looking at all the complications on the Olympus. But it only takes a day or two before I return the GMT to my wrist.

This weekend I'm in Florida so I brought my Omega X-33 along for it's timer function. But after my morning walk, the Omega comes off and the GMT goes back on.

The consistency of your admiration, love and devotion toward that GMT-II of yours over the years I've known you is something I have to admire, Ed!!

I just wear my GMT 2 Black/Red bezel all the time.
I've only the one watch. If I ever did branch out and get another it would be the Explorer II with the white dial and I would tend to alternate with the GMT2 as a sometimes after sunset watch because I believe its easier to read in low light.

The white dial Exp-II would be an excellent choice, Steve. You will not only find it one of the most comfortable sports Rolex on the wrist (at just 126 grams in weight), but time readability on that watch in just about any light, is a cinch!! Even at night, it has a fine subtle glow right through, so you can read the time just about anytime!
