My father is a black belt in Mudokwan Karate. He learned in the 60s got his BB and opened a school in our hometown in Texas. I remember watching all the training and sparring as a kid. He's 78 now and I still would not want to tangle with him. :). My 20 year old daughter is a black belt in both Kempo and Kenpo karate. Having studied some 8 plus years here in Hawaii. She is petite but tough as nails. I'm confident she could at least get herself out of an assault type situation. I enjoy watching, but never trained. Congrats to all who train in martial arts. It takes a lot of time and effort.
