Alvarez V Khan

Just seen this has been announced.

Is anybody a boxing fan here?

Seems a strange fight to me, the Middleweight champion fighting a guy that only came up to welterweight 3 fights ago.

I'm calling a canelo win by stoppage.

Canelo win for me as well. Khan has a glass jaw and is hugely overrated! Can't stand Khan so hopefully he is put in his place fairly convincingly by Canelo.

Canelo needs to man up and quit fighting at 155 pound catchweights and fight his Mandatory GGG at 160. Oscar knows if that happens he is going to lose his Golden Goose.

Khan is pretty skilled and has fast hands but I think he's taken too many shots at this point to be fighting someone with Canelo's power. I hope he wins because he's a nice guy and I have met him in person at one of his track workouts, but if I had to bet I'd probably take Canelo with any reasonable odds.

I would agree Canelo will win. I'm also looking forward to thurman vs. porter coming soon as well.

It opened Canelo as the -300 favorite with Khan coming back at +240 for the fight. I think it could be Canelo doing a knock out though.

This will be strength vs quickness

Word. No-one in the UK likes Khan, he's done himself no favours.

I am a HUGE Canelo fan and I would love to see him in the ring with GGG.

-300 is bad, I'd probably be looking for props on ending by KO, late KO say after round 9 or so.
