After. Sorry I no longer have the TT Sub. Here it is next to the BLRN. At least now all three look the same. They got the watch Jan 9, I got it back today.

Maybe it's the photos, but I'm having a hard time seeing the difference between the first photo and second photo. The first one didn't look bad at all tbh!

I would say the BLNR is a little small now.

To me, out of the three the YM was the smallest. It could be the first photos were taken further away. The numbers seem thinner on the YM. They may not all be perfect but they are close enough for me. I'm done with them!

Congrats, Rich, I'm a big fan of the platinum dial YM. And your watch looks 100% better with the proper date magnification. Enjoy that great looking YM!

Regards, -Rick.

Hi All. Trying to decide what to do with mag issue on my BLNR currently.

Rich, did RSC replace with a "like new from AD crystal"? Or a "S" inside the etched coronet to show it has been replaced?

How much and how long? Thanks.

Mine was replaced under warranty. They rec'd my watch on Jan 9. It took three days back and forth on the phone to get them to finally change the crystal. I got the watch back today 2/16.

I don't see the "S" on my crystal. I can see the LEC but not the "S".
If it's there, I don't care because I have the paper work which read " magnification issue, replaced crystal".

Looks good Rich!

I can certainly see the change from the 1st photo to the current. The date font looked a bit thinner and in the second it looks 1:1 now BLNR to Yachtmaster.

Thanks Ben. That's exactly the way it looked to me. I don't have very many before pictures because I only wore it for a week and sent it in.

I swear if you keep looking at these things they'll drive you nuts.

My next Rolex will be datelessthat's for sure.

What a fine pair!

First proper picture I've seen where the apparent problem is obvious.

A clear difference between the before and after.

Good on you for not compromising. The only thing worse than buying a new watch with a defect is selling it/passing it on to the next person for them to deal with.

Funny you mentioned your next Rolex to be dateless....

I've had that magnification issue twice and seen countless out there.

I've also had a sticky date change issue on a black 216570 I owned.

No date solves both those quirks!

You got that right. I don't have these problems with my Daytona.

So they admit it's an 'issue' now. That's a first, afaik.

Rich, I am glad you too had a positive experience at NY RSC - They replaced my "borderline" mag on the Sub C earlier this month.

Sure Carlos, I remember yours. I'm happy with the way it turned out for both of us.
