Milguass question

Hey Guys. I have been curious about everyone's opinion on the regular Milgauss. I know its still early.....but will a regular (non GV) Milgauss be just as collectible as a SS Daytona......or will it just be another watch?

The reason I ask is because I just stepped up to the plate on a Milgauss and I think Im having buyers remorse. I currently own Two SS daytona's, a seadweller and a explorer II and I as much as I think the milguass is cool.......I dont know if I can afford to keep it.

sorry for the stupid question..........but if I cant ask you guys......who can I ask?

It isn't too early...it's here.

6 mths ago a regular Milguass go for as much as $8K...now $5.9K for a 4 mths pre-owned.

Have you seen any SS Daytona for sale for less than $9K?

Non-GV Milgauss is just another watch.

Could you be a bit more clear..

What do you mean by "can't afford to keep it" when you have Daytonas, Seadwellers and explorers.

The Milgauss is likely to be sold in lower numbers than any of these, and in the long run is likely to be worth as much as the SD's and Exp's put together.. just as the earlier Milgauss are.

The school is still out on if the SS Daytona will have substantial value down the road too. They are simply not rare, only highly sought after, and at some point there will be millions in the community..

Great question. The Explorer II I cant sell because it was a engagement present from the wife, Seadweller is my everyday watch, and the SS Daytona's.......are a guaranteed investment because I got into them right. I love Rolex's.......but Im about to do some major work on my house and I have a baby onthe way. If I know the Milgauss will hold great re-sale value I will be in no rush to sell it.....but if its a watch that I will be taking a bath on god forbid I need to sell it.....I may want to sell it now before I wear it. Sorry for the stupid questions.

IMO the black or white dial Milgauss will hold a value just like any other Rolex. I don't think you will take a bath on it but it won't be the same second hand as a GV or a Daytona SS and if you are not going to wear it - why buy it?.

People shouldn't buy a watch just because you think it's collectible.
You should buy a watch because you like it and enjoy seeing it on your wrist.
