GMT BLNR or Explorer 2 ?
My AD is getting both in on the next shipment and has said I can have my pick. I have a 6.75 inch wrist and my collection currently has a Sub-C, Daytona, and 39mm explorer. I have been leaning towards one but I am just looking for some final input before the deal is struck. Which would you choose if you were me and why? Tax included prices are around 8000 CAD for exp 2 and 9000 CAD for BLNR.
Thx for any replies |

BLNR for sure. But I wouldn't use the bezel to time anything ;) can't wait to see your pics my friend. Good luck!

I debated over the same two. Left with the ExII. Cleaner design.

Both are great, but I'd go with the ExpII given what you already have. The Sub and BLNR are a bit too similar for me.

BLNR but I'm biased. That's a good price on the BLNR too

Polar! It's a completely different watch from what you have! Actually, it kind of sticks out of the entire Rolex line!

With your collection 216570, but I'm also a little biased.

Hi, I only want one GMT watch in my collection right now. As for the price, I have had a lot of business with my AD (Watches and Jewellery) so he tries to give me similar discounts on all my pieces now (probably in the hopes that I will spend more money, haha)

Totally agree! At these prices, get both. If you don't like any one, sell it on the forum you can probably make some profit. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have and love both. Keepers.
If i was you I'd sell the Sub C and buy both. Exp II and Blnr sit lower on the wrist than Sub C and are more comfortable day to day for me. Blnr would have instant [and higher] resale value compared to the Exp II if you got that one and didn't love it..but..what's not to love!? Exp II may seem a little large on your wrist though at 42mm though it's super comfortable to wear. Dial is noticeably bigger. Try them both on and enjoy two of the finest and coolest watches made today. |

I'd get the BLNR. Not only that the Explorer might me too big for your wrist but I find the BLNR so much more beautiful and unique.

You should try them both for yourself since I've read on here that the Explorer II at 42mm wears big and with the 6 something wrist size, I'd go with BLNR. Good luck with whichever you choose.

Sub and GMT are so similar, would make sense to go EXP II, however it's quite big and you don't have a large wrist, so if you like how it looks go EXP II.

BLNR most certainly !!!
I believe very differently that it is not similar to your sub C... That said I have a sub C and have been looking at the BLNR and it will be my next piece ... Keep in mind the Exp 11 has a fixed bezel which will NOT rotate neither left nor right... So for me ? The decision is clear ... BLNR all the way!! Any who ... It is your decision and your money ... Good luck on your final choice ... |

BLNR for sure.
Exp. II looks nice but has a fixed and scratchable bezel as well as a larger size, which are not good for the daily wearing on your small wrist. |

I have to ask, is that price on the BLNR all in or are there taxes on that?

With your wrist size the BLNR will probably be a better fit.

BLNR is the way to go if you had to pick one. Beautiful watch.

Pick the one that fits you best, but try them on for sure.
My wrist is 6.75 too and I felt the Exp2 was too big and top heavy. Depends on the wrist shape, but finally ended up trading my Exp2 for the BLNR. The GMT feels "Just right". |

I also debated the exp ii and blnr. Exp ii felt more true to what a Rolex is supposed to be......to me.

Cool choices. Love both and tried em on side by side. I'd go with the BLNR for its versatility of casual and dress watch. Rotating bezel is a plus as well, can keep track of three times zones. Good luck with your decision! Really two great looking watches!

Wow that is a massive discount on both pieces. I've never heard of anyone getting prices lk!e that in Canada, especially given how starved for sport models we are.
But I'd get the GMT!
