Left work early to bring the watch to RSC - they close at 5p. Ricky, the tech, looked at it. Came out and and said it was fine. It is the rotor or the movement. Everything was tight, he said. I told him I was a rolex rookie and I was sure that the sound had changed just in the last few days.
I guess it was just me. He was great about it. Went back and brought a beauty newish submariner out and showed me the movement inside it. He put the cover back on and we listened to it. It had a somewhat similar sound although a little quieter it seemed. Of course my watch is almost 45 years old so hey. Thanks for all your input. Jim |
