Beautiful watch.
Really thinking of taking the jump from Rolex to AP.

Yes, it is very finely finished and smudges can detract from the overall look

Do it! I traded my only Rolex, Daytona, for a 15400; I can honestly say it was my best move since I got into watches.

General consensus seemed to be that the 15300 was a better size, but I think the tide is finally turning, thanks in small part to great shots like this. #team15400

I don't get the size arguments you see all the time - it's surely relative to one's own size. I'm 6'5" with 7.25 inch wrists, so the 15400 is right for me. It wouldn't be if I had 6.25 inch wrists, but the 15300 would be.

This is the one thing (almost the only thing!) Apple did right with their Watch - providing the same watch in two different sizes to suit everyone. I wish more traditional watch manufacturers (Rolex!) would do the same, but I guess for most it would be too expensive.

Amazing photos & watch ..well here is what i did..

instead of waiting impatiently for the Daytona 116500Ln , I paid a deposit immediately for the blue dial after trying the black dial on my wrist ..Never had any AP watch before and truly amazed with the workmanship on the bracelet and overall comfort on the wrist..So i guess Daytona can wait lol while i enjoy my 1st AD 15400St

P/s Blue dial arriving next week..Cheers !!!

Love it. Wondering why you didn't get the chrono? I love both versions but find the sub dials of the chrono add a level of depth and balance to the dial (which is fantastic already)

It scratches very easily from my research.

Love the ROC as well. But as my only AP (for now😉) I felt like the classic RO was the way to go. Plus I'm a sucker for that display back and the view of that beautiful movement. If the ROC ever gets a in house movement/display back, I will be first in line!
