Tudor Cubed
Hi Friends,
Thanks to this sub forum, I've been on a bit of a "vintage" kick as of late focused on Tudor. I have received some help from the folks on this board and it has been very appreciated. 1969 7017/0 Day + Date to dress it up a little when required. 1992 79090 Submariner for my everyday. 1977 9091/0 Princess Sub for my lovely wife. All purchased within the last 2 weeks. There is just something about the acrylic top hat's I couldn't shake and needed to get a couple in the collection. Looking forward to enjoying these for the long term. Steve |

Beautiful set, now you need a model 7966 to finish off that group

Nice Tudors, Thegr8one. I have never seen a Tudor Day-Date before, and the lugs on that Snowflake are remarkable.

I think those are the "doorstop" markers on the DD, I like those!

Nice collection. We may have similar tastes, though it took me more than a couple of weeks to get these together.

Thanks. The Date-Day took me a couple of years of hunting. It was head-only, but fortuitously it takes the same Oyster bracelet as my GMT. I put the GMT on a spare Jubilee and put the Tudor on the Oyster. Perfect fit!

A few though not all (bottom one has moved on) - guess I need to get 'em all together one day.

Haha, I think we all have a "problem". Some may be more severe than others but we're all in the same boat. You have some amazing watches. I have such an appreciation for these old Tudors. These Tudors were made for guys exactly like me. I can't afford to drop thousands on the old Rolex Subs but these Tudors are right in my wheel house with similar charm and history. Thank you Hans for creating the brand.... |

It will be interesting to see how vintage Tudor values change over the next 10 - 20 years. I suspect we'll all be glad that we got in when we did. |

I love the Tudors, they are like the scrappy kid in the family ;)
Nice pickups, Steve, and welcome to The Tudor Clan
