Hi guys,

it seems that the 116610LV Sub-c has been recently released with a new green bezel.
Some owners (at least here in Italy) say that the new cerachrome would be darker (less brilliant) than the first "mack".

Any further information/picture about it?

I doubt that's true. If you look at one of these in the light, the green dial at it's greenest angle matches the green of the bezel. If the green on the bezel were a different shade of green, it wouldn't match the dial. They wouldn't do that unless they changed the dial color also

I've rarely see a perfect color match with bezel and dial except maybe in ROLEX web site. In the sun the dial sunburst nicely but doesn't match bezel.

Below is a picture I took like 2 weeks ago that is almost a perfect match of dial and bezel. Still my favorite watch

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Over the years Rolex has made many similar changes, such as with the 16610LV using a lighter Lime Green bezel for the first few years, then gradually transitioned to a noticeably deeper...darker green! Either way, only time will tell!

Mine does. Maybe you have one of the new color bezels the OP is talking about

It really seems that your HULK Belongs to the new generation; the dial is darker than the previous mack, as well as the bezel.

My 116610 arrived on Friday (I haven't seen it in person, yet); I really hope that it is the darker version...I like it very much!

The only documented change for the LVc over the years has been spacing differences between characters on the dial.

One can't conclude anything based on Internet photos. Go check the LVc owners' thread. The angle and lighting change the watch dramatically. It's part of what makes the reference so special.... Something you will discover once you take possession of your incoming.

X2. I highly doubt any bezel color change. I own the watch also, and the lighting and angles make the green hues change immensely. I really don't believe any rumors about anything on the 'net until I see definitive proof. JMO

Exactly. Same with the blue watch that I'm wearing today, it totally depends on the lighting.

Excellent response ! As the dial changes so much with lightning and at different angle it's impossible to almost get the same picture twice unless your a pro camera guy.

Mine is 6 years old btw, bought new from Wynn & Company, AD, Las Vegas

I agree with others that any color variance is likely a lighting issue. That said I suppose it is possible that some minor color differences could occur during the manufacturing process. It could be similar to the minor variances that happen in paint production but I know zero about how Rolex creates the bezel colors so I'm totally just guessing!!

The fake LVC bezel is darker for certain. Forest green. Been like that for years. You are not talking about them are you? Be careful.

I would personally prefer a darker bezel and dial, a shade closer to olive green.

I went to my local AD today especially to check out the LV in the flesh, but it is too bright for me. A darker Hulk would be almost perfect, if it wasn't't for the square lugs which I'm not very fond of either. They should go back to tapered lugs.

I really wanted to like it. I loved it in pictures.

Always go and see the watch in person and try it on before you buy.

No, I really wanted to like it, but this watch is not for me. Always go and see the watch in person and try it on.

I own the watch and love it. The shade of green is perfect and so are the lugs.
The watch is not for you and there is nothing wrong with that. Plenty of other models to choose from!

If the green was in real life like the one in your picture, I would like it a lot (bar the lugs). I would give it a chance.

My pic was taken in real life, lol. The watch is like a chameleon, the green shades change immensely depending on lighting/angles of watch. Very unique.

I visited an AD here in Italy, this morning. I compared (side by side) an old (2012) HULK and a new one. I can confirm that the new green is a bit darker than the previous one. I really like it

Huh...I just compared mine to the AD's recently and they were identical.

FWIW: If you wear your LV in the strong sunlight frequently....the dial WILL fade slightly, thus making the new ones appear darker.

Really doubt ceramic can fade. Its not painted its actually green ceramic material.

I couldn't take pictures, unfortunately. Anyway, under the same light, I could really appreciate the difference. I like both of them; the new green is just slightly darker

The LVC bezel is a matte finish when compared the the sunburst effect of the dial. Depending on the light the two can look radically different or identical.

I saw a fake Hulk recently and they are much closer in colour to the real thing now so be very careful.
