Our boxing coverage on the UK has dwindled due to Murdoch and his Empire. We can get PPV sometimes but with the time difference it means you could be paying $50 and be long asleep by the time the fight starts.

We get a little fight action, mostly Calzaghe, Hatton. Khan but the real stars of the sport, the americans and south americans get very little publicity in the uk.

The fight game has become a sport for purists only. During it's televised UK heyday in the 80's and the early 90's, the public were fascinated...now the sport and it's stars are fading into public obscurity.

Hey MMA is probably the worst thing for boxing. Man in the late 80's early to mid 90s, you had a REAL heavyweight division-Mike, Holy, Bowe, Holmes, Spinks, Lewis, Bruno, even Golota-also up and coming stars in lower weight classes- it really was an exciting time. Now you got DLH, who has one more fight left in him, the best fighter in the world (PBF) is an arrogant a$$hole who just retired at 31 years old, what superstar is left? Manny Pacquiao is all I can think of. Your guys Joe and Ricky, they're near the end of their careers. One of my faves who Calzaghe dismantled, Jeff Lacy announced his retirement @ 31 years old yesterday---what the hell is going on?
