Somebody beat me to the smell of naplam in the morn...
The smell of coffee as its brewing in the morn.
I love the smell of Bacon and eggs too.

Ah, another Wusthof man, I see. Nothing beats Japanese steel, but Solingen makes very respectable blades.

Now I can't remember what the brand is, but there's this Japanese manufacturer who makes blades samurai-sword style, and you can actually see all of the folds on the blade. I'm going to look seriously into getting one of those.

Those Mellor designs looks pretty good, and the prices are reasonable too. I haven't seen them in Melbourne stores but I'll keep an eye out for them.
I find my global has better balance, perhaps it's just the perception the enite solid SS handle gives. The blade does dull and burr pretty quickly though, whereas the Wusthof stays sharper a little longer.

Whatever, they are still surgically sharp when you lose your fingertip to one of the bleeders!!!!!!!!!

Puppy breath.
Catching "the shot" with my camera.
Transferring my stuff from an old purse to a new one.
The first bite of a steaming hot pizza (you know the little triangle at the end)
The smell of my kids when they come inside from playing in the Florida heat.
