Second hand Tudor, need advice please!
Hi there, so I've had a couple of second hand purchases in the past, but nothing from Tudor.
I've approached an online seller over a Tudor Hydronaught prince date. The seller is a woman who says she was given this by her ex-boyfriend who she no longer wants any attachments to, she has the extra links for the bracelet but claims that she does not have the box or papers. My issues are, is this something i should purchase if the price is right? How may i know if this is stolen or not? From the pictures attached (sorry for the poor quality), is this fully authentic? Id love to hear your personal opinions and thoughts, thanks! |

Looks alright to me.. Though it's not one of my more familiar models. Stolen? Buy the seller. Would she have one? Was her ex a turd? *Ah, just saw this is an online buy. In which case I'd probably not bother unless the price was amazing. Offer her 500 bucks for it.

I'd say it's authentic from those pictures. The Hydronaut is not a model I've seen faked (though I'm sure there are). I have owned 2 of them and still own one, and using it as a comparison and using Tudor Anthology as a comparison, I'd say it's authentic. Beat to hell, with B and P, and likely needing a service, I'd say $400-$500 tips is a fair price. They sell for $1200-$1600 box and paper... People might ask $2,500 or $2,000, but they won't get it.

If you can get it for $400 I'd take a chance on it. I would. |
