Women's Olympic Football ....... Something's Missing!

All the diving and rolling around clutching at fake injuries seen in men's football/soccer. Kudos to the lady footballers of the world. Playing the game the way it was meant to be played. Take a lesson men. The game would be better for it.

Agreed. I was lucky enough to be assigned to the Olympic Police for the Salt Lake Winter Games in 2002. On one of my days off, I was able to catch the Women's Bronze Medal Game between Sweden and Finland.

It was amazing to watch really talented skating instead of the boxing matches that occasionally break out during men’s hockey.

I have enjoyed the women's events more than the men's. The women's beach volleyball, field hockey, and soccer are amazing.

I do enjoy the women's game more than the men. Until Hope Solo starts running her mouth.

Not a big fan of soccer. When I see all the whining the men do I think they are acting like little girls. I stand corrected, they aren't. They're acting like little boys.

She never seems to miss an opportunity to disappoint.

I'm not a fan of women's football, or rugby for that matter. Putting the rolling around in 'agony' when another player comes within three post codes (zip codes) of them to one side, rightly or wrongly I still consider it to be a man's game that's best left to men.

I'm in total agreement, TBH I don't watch the women's game.

I quite enjoyed the women's rugby 7s.

I also watch women's football because my country has a decent team. cant say the same for our men's team, so am forced to support another country.
