Excellent work. Great price for 8 hours work! Pictures never do it justice. Wait till you see it in person.

A few weeks ago I got a wild hair to buff out the swirls and minor scratches on my guards red 997. When I opened this thread for a moment I thought you had posted pics of MY car!
Looks fantastic. Wow, 8 hours to "wash, clay and wax" the car is a long time. Did he do a full detailing, inside and out? MY car took me 2 full days, but by far the time consuming part of the whole thing was the paint correction. I did it in two stages, and it takes forever because you have to apply in small areas about 2'x2' and take your time working the compound and then the finishing polish in with the DA polisher. But the sealant I used was easy for me - hand apply, wait 20 minutes, and wipe off. I put a coat of wax on after but that was essentially the same process as the sealant - wipe on, wipe off. Congrats, the car was beautiful when you bought it, and now it's jaw-dropping! BTW, speaking of time, I've been trying the waterless wash method and really like it. Now I only "wet wash" my car maybe once a month, when the inside of the wheels need to be cleaned.

Clay bar is excruciatingly tedious & physically demanding. I never got past doing my windshield.
Great job you got there! |

Clay bar is an abrasive. Did he polish after clay bar?
Looks great from the photos, but the real test is a detailing light or simply the sun. |
