I have other hobbies, but don't have tremendous income so I don't devote much towards watches (I do love them though).
I have a yachtmaster, but would also like a BLNR, djII-blue dial, smooth bezel, with Romans, and a black dial Daytona c. At some point I may buy one more Rolex, but cannot afford all four.

I go through periodic expansions and contractions. Right now I'm on a Rolex kick.

I have seven, but I don't limit myself to just Rolex. I have several Pateks, a Cartier, and used to trade several friends for Russian watches. It's all about diversity. They don't have to be expensive to collect.

Once I grab a 5 digit GMT I'll be set...adding that to a DJ and Sub.

I normally only have one Rolex at a time as I really only like dive watches from Rolex. I'll never own 2 subs no matter how different they are. I really want a DeepSea DeepBlue, but in reality I just don't think it's different enough to justify. I'm not a Daytona fan as I'd rather get a Speedy.
Long story short I highly doubt I'll ever have more than one Rolex at a time.

I'm very content with the 3 that I have but I must admit a few more would be nice. I'm looking towards the new Tudor Style.

I traded three Rolex watches for three Rolex watches. I traded a beautiful TT Datejust w/white face for an Explorer II white face, a SS DateJust w/white face for a SS Datejust 41 w/white face, and a SS Submariner for a ceramic SS Submariner. I loved my original three Rolex watches , I just wanted an update and didn't want six Rolex watches.

I add that I have three Omega watches , a Breitling watch and two Garmin GPS watches.

I like mixing up brands. I suspect the BLNR will be my only Rolex. The other main watch types (diver and chrono) I have covered by Omega and Breitling.

Ha, indeed! That's the logical side of your brain talking. Nothing wrong with enjoying the wonderful watches you already have which represent the dressy and sporty sides. Watch Acquisition Syndrome can overtake all of us at times. Nice to see others get their first Rolex which might be the culmination of many years of anticipation. Cheers!

I enjoy brand diversity. Right now I have 3 Rolex watches along with some other brands. I think my perfect collection would consist of:

Rolex Gmt
AP royal oak.
PPNautilus.
PP Calatrava.
Done!

I'm sort of in my watch "Zen" right now. I have 3 Rolex. A DJ, the blue dialed YM and my BLNR. I mostly wear the BLNR. I really like the WG Sub but I'm so hard on my watches I have a hard time thinking about spending that much money to bang it around. That being said, I would want to wear it every day. Conflicted I guess but I like what I have now.

I actually only own one watch - my GMT 16710. I love Rolex watches, and I would be lying if I said I wouldn't take one if you offered it to me. I'm not in the market for any right now though. I enjoy researching the brands history, learning about the models and just appreciating their beauty. Maybe one day I will end up with another, but right now I have no interest in buying. Additionally, the more I learn about Rolex, the more I realize that my 16710 is everything I want in a watch. And that's enough for me.

Not rolexed out with just two: BLNR and Exp 1, but I have a varied collection beyond those. So many other brands I've discovered and yet to discover - incl the Big 3. One day...

There are so many ways to enjoy the watch hobby - different brands, all one brand, one watch at a time. It's all good.

I own 2 SS Rolexes at the moment, and I just cannot get the idea of a PM Rolex out of my head...

Almost, I have 3 now and want a PM. Pretty sure it will be a DD but I am considering a 116515. Then I think I would be at my Rolex total. May want to add a trinity piece later and one Rolex may go but who knows?

As of now, I am contented and happy with my GMT BLNR and SubC LN. I wear each watch every other day.

I'm currently happy with my 3 and will definitely add another in the future, but the next addition to my collection will more than likely be a Tudor.

Rolex'd out

I wish Rolex made a current model triple calendar with moon phase. But for something like that I'm afraid I will have to venture out to other brands.... I love my current Rolex collection and am not looking to add.

You've swapped some of your friends for Russian watches?

I have four and didn't think I was Rolex'd out until I picked up my Panerais. I want one more Rolex and then that'll be me done.

There's never not been a time there's been at least 2 Rolexes on my radar.

So no, not Rolex'd out, but cash'd out? Yes.

I wish. I'm always looking at the next one. On my short short list are the BLNR, Daytona C white, GMT master 16710, explorer... Too bad life has Rolexed me out for the time being lol.
