Interesting. That's an ooollllldd style insert. Would be great for a 1675 or 16750.

What's with the serif fonts? The 2001 16710A I bought last month has the serif fonts on it. I have been searching for a Pepsi insert too and been thinking most are "aftermarket" ones as the fonts are not the serif fonts..

Maybe the OP can help me to buy one Pepsi insert too..

At many ADs that doesn't happen even when paying full MSRP for a watch. Hardly think that will happen when trying to buy a $75 part.

I'm going to give the watch guy a call today and see how he acquired this bezel insert. I actually prefer the look of this font, but I'm still curious how he got it if they aren't being manufactured anymore. I'll report back...

Pretty sure that insert won't fit on either of those models.

My bad. You're right. I was thinking that's when the serif font inserts first appeared.

I was under the impression that if you sent to RSC they are willing to put a different bezel insert on, however they keep the old one?
I recently had my Pepsi bezel swapped for a new one on service by RSC in London and they returned the old one to me in a sweet little aluminium carrying case.

Now I'll have to check if my new bezel has a Serif font when I get home.

Oh, it cost $100 total.

Sounds like your AD/service center is charging a bit more for "installation".
They did mine a million years ago too. I'm glad to see that they are still reasonable.
