I just purchased a 14060 sub, circa 94 and it came with a display back as well as the original case back with the hologram green sticker still on . I have just removed the display back and put the original case back on and was wondering weather to leave the sticker on or take it off ? I wear the watch on a NATO so have left the sticker on for now . Is there any plus to keeping the sticker when/if I re well the watch ? Full set with sticker ;) haha . I doubt it makes any difference, but I kinda liked the originality of it for a 23 year old watch :)

I keep all the stickers on then gently pull each one of with extreme care as not to damage the very delicate 904L SS.Then I frame every individual sticker in a hermetically sealed case as not to let the air and moisture to damage or discolour the clear plastic.Plus I have had a specially made Rolex bed, made from the finest materials known to man.Its lined with the finest silk and specially padded with the finest softest Pashmina as not to scratch the delicate 904L SS.Plus it has a built in winder to gently rock the Rolex watches to sleep and keep its heart ticking at a constant 28800BPH. Plus the added feature of thermostatically heat humidity and air conditioned controlled to the COSC standard. Its fully Programmed to lull my Rolex to sleep when off my wrist, with soothing ticking and whale sounds to help it drift into a place of peace and Rolex tranquillity. Today they should not be called a Rolex watch, but a pampered watch, myself just wonder why Rolex have made one of the toughest mechanical watches on the planet today as today they sure do get a extremely over pampered life.

I leave my stickers on - I err on the side of caution. Don't want to get any scratches on it!

I have only left the clasp sticker on until the edges start curling. The other stickers come off usually after the first photo's are taken.

Leaving stickers on your timepiece and wearing them, makes it look like you can't afford your watch. It's the equivalent of buying a nice suit for an awards ceremony and leaving the price tags on so you can return it aftwards. Just tacky

Either ADs took stickers off or when I purchased one from trusted seller, I removed the stickers immediately after the bracelet got resized by NY RSC the first time I put the watch on. You will not take your Rolex to your grave... Wear your watch in good health and worry about other things than small scratches...
BTW, some people in Kuwait keep plastic covers on their car seats. I do not how efficient the seat cooling is... But if you keep plastic on your watch, you should keep plastic on your furniture, car seats, etc. |

I think it's similar to:
- Driving a new car and leaving the Mulrooney in the window - Wearing new sunglasses and leaving the tag on the bridge - Wearing new jeans and leaving the size and UPC tag on the waist Not quite up there with eating a Big Mac without removing the wrapper... but real close. |
