I don't have a dog but I met one of these on Saturday.
French Mastiff. Big fella - tremendous looking dog and a nice temperament. I liked him a lot more than I liked his owner.'

Luckily, with your location, I know it wasn't me I've read that they're known as Maligators in the LE community, due to their bite strength and tenacity, is that true? |

We call them Maligators because they want to bite everything lol. They have a very strong "hunt" and "fight" drive. In our K9 group of 9 K9 teams, I would say the GSDs bite harder. However the Mals are crazy awesome and psychotic. lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Chris, I hear ya on the shedding and upholstery, we sweep up soccer ball size hair balls everyday. They roll across the tile floor like tumbleweeds. :) They are fun dogs though, strong willed, but fun. Aloha, Tim
