Are you following the instructions? I think it specifically says do not reset while running the stopwatch? (stop, then reset?)

(Just throwing out something that might be helpful, that is all.)

Then it's under warranty. Take it back.

Common problem with some Chronographs.
But I've never had the problem with a new Daytona.
Any idea how long it sat at the AD?

Not sure =((

When you had the problem, did you go to the rolex service center? or will it fix itself after running for a few days?

Mine did that one time only. Not sure what I did, but I re-set it and it never happened again.

Sadly, rare yet happens. Service or swap it. Service may take 3 to 5 weeks is my guess.

If you've been waiting for it to come in then it hasn't been sitting at the AD at all.

Since you just got it, I'd tell them you want a new one. Take it right back with the stickers still on it. Good luck!

Simple. Under warranty, bring it back to AD.

A very simple fix the hand just wants to be removed and reset.

You can press the reset button all day while the chronometer is running and it will do nothing until the stop button is pressed.

As Peter has said the hand needs to be reset to zero.

He will just send it back to Rolex or have it serviced and re sell it as Brand New to some unsuspecting customers
