Perfect AD timing.....Not!
I put my name down on the list for a Tudor BB Bronze which I really liked the look of. Since then, about a month ago my AD called me and said he had a BB Dark so I went straight out and got that one. Last night I booked and paid for another holiday which has left me broke. Today my AD called and said the Bronze is in if I want it.
Aaaaarrrggghhh. I am just hoping the Mrs is in a good mood when I ask her later. |

Ask her if she has spare money but don't borrow if you really are broke.

Make sure you wash the dinner dishes and take out the trash first. Maybe draw her a nice warm bath too...then ask her.

Some times it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission...

Unfortunately this is the way these things happen. Sorry to hear this! I would absolutely make the Wife happy before I picked up the Bronze.

I pulled this off with my wife when I picked up the Black Bay Bronze two weeks ago. I have a bronze Helson Shark Diver with the green dial. I told her that I changed the dial on that watch and slapped on a new strap. Worked like a charm.

So, I spoke to the wife and I was told that I could buy it if I want, but would that be sensible with the money I have paid out for different things over the last month, other holidays and watches etc. Trying to translate this from the "female" to "male" language I think I was given a NO!

You said you're broke so why even bother asking the wife? Are you going to ask her to buy it for you?

Listen man. Its a Tudor bronze. Your AD is leading you on and trying to make you believe that its hard to get because they had to "order it in". That watch will be even easier to get in 6 months time and will be in every AD window. The only reason they are even moderately difficult to find right now is because they are a fairly new release. Take a deep breath and grab one (at a better price) next year.
