Got the call from Dallas RSC last night, so my first (and only) Rolex is on its way back (D-serial Polar Explorer II 16570). Some advice for other newbies - I'd recommend you buy 2 "good" watches rather than sending your one and only out for a month+ only a week after buying it!

Looking forward to posting pictures once it arrives!

(Although I asked for it to not be polished, so it will basically look the same).

Has it already been polished since it was originally sold approximately 10 years ago? If not, why not have RSC refinish it....then it would be like getting a brand new watch. That's what I did with my D serial GMT. Had Rik Dietel service/refinish for the first time ever in May. Felt like I bought a NOS 16710. Awesome feeling.

Yes, it had already been polished before. It looked great to me so I figured I'd pass this time.

I also have one at Dallas. Just got my tracking this morning. Should be back home shortly.
