Airport dining

Waiting in MIA for my flight; had the chance to eat at a gem here called La Carreta. Great spot if you guys are into Cuban food. Even though they did hold back on the spice.

I don't travel a lot, but the best airport food I had was the shrimp cocktail at the sports bar at DFW. This was at least 10 years ago, not sure if they are still there.

Shrimp cocktail and a Guiness, and I was a happy traveler.

La Caretta has some mean (great) cortaditos (espresso shot with hot milk and sugar) in the morning. I think I had 8 of them a few weeks ago.

Cuban cuisine isn't spicy in terms of hot peppers, etc. - if you're killing time at TPA and see the Columbia Cafe then drop in for a plate of Lechon Asado.
